We are in the progress of updating the Forest Camp site to give
you a bettter user experience, we are endeavouring to expand the
information available to you, these are
ongoing improvements throughout 2016.
This large wooded
camp can accommodate over 1000 in a range of sites from large open
fields to small clearings. The toilet blocks have hot water and
showers, and are equipped with special needs facilities.
There are two buildings that can be hired, each sleeps 24
residents in a combination of room sizes. The 'George Begg'
building boasts central heating and an excellently equipped
stainless steel kitchen with commercial appliances, large fridge
and freezer. The 'Lakeview' building has heating throughout, the
kitchen has a selection of appliances and is better suited to more
reserved catering demands. Both kitchens have crockery and cutlery
provided for 50 people.

activity instructors, for both Scout and non-Scout Groups, please
ask while booking.
Glamping at Forest
Our luxuriously equipped tented village offers you the
delights of a stay under the stars without any of the logistical
nightmares; no trailers, no wet tents, no pitching in the rain and
wind, no need to bring anything but your personal kit. Comfortable
tents, luxurious mattresses, dining facilities with electric
lighting, gas cookers, a suitably equipped kitchen. All within a
few yards of hot and cold running water and large washing up area.

The 'Haven' is a large covered seated facility, for use as a
chapel, outdoor classroom' or craft area, located within the
woodland and decorated with a large wall painting depicting
'Scouting in Cheshire'. A rustic stone lecturn is avaliable for

rafting, climbing tower, high-ropes, traversing wall, archery,
pioneering, orienteering, a small adventure play area (up to 10yrs)
and a larger 'Low Ropes' course for all ages.
A large selection of all main high street stores are within a
short car journey to Northwich town centre, nearer local shops
offer the majority of everyday items in Cuddington village, online
delivery can be arranged to the site. The site has a tuck shop
selling sweets, drinks, ice cream and souvenirs.
The nearby train stations are at Hartford or Cuddington.
