12-08-11 [22:29] All three units are now safely
home. Graham Phillips writes "I didn't think return homes
could get any more emotional but tonight they did as the
consolidated unit brought terminal 3 at the airport to a standstill
for a few minutes as they returned to the UK from Poland, via
Brussels. Once again it is clear they have had a fantastic time,
made many new friends and a whole host of unique experiences. Like
everybody else they are now looking forward to their reunion events
later in the year.

12-08-11 Cheshire members of the consolidated
unit arrive back from Poland tonight (Friday)
12-08-11 At lunchtime McDonald's appeared
to do very well out of the return of Unit 10 at Lymm service
station for the reunion with parents and friends.
12-08-11 Cheshire's Unit 10 arrived back
from Iceland at lunchtime after the final leg of their world scout
jamboree adventure. Graham Phillips said "Lots more emotion (it
included some of the Leaders today!) with more proud parents and
Cheshire Explorer Scouts with experience overload".

really nice to hear the complimentary comments from parents about
the coverage of the Jamboree and the whole experience on the
Cheshire Scouts website. Many had watched the closing ceremony live
on the web and it certainly enabled people at home to keep in touch
with the excitement and experience of the Jamboree. Congratulations
to the webteam for a job well done".
11-08-11 Both remaining units return from
Iceland and Poland tomorrow (Friday)
11-08-11 All members of unit 9 are now
safely home from Switzerland having arrived at Manchester from
Zurich this afternoon. Graham Phillips writes "It was an emotional
reunion with parents and a sad farewell to other unit members.
Clearly everybody has had a fantastic time and over the coming
weeks I'm sure they will share their many memories with family and
friends".

in with families accross the town and meeting up everyday for

I'm staying with are reallly nice. Turns out we are doing a bike

are now in Poland and Hoho (home hospitality) is excellent, very
full program so no time to stop!
Yesterday we had a city tour followed by camp fire and
games, today (Tuesday) we are on a bus excursion of the surrounding
area and then tomorrow we're on a bike ride all day. As I say its

the Jamboree site early this morning (Sunday) we are now in Poland.
Currently on a bus for our 4 hour trip to our host town. Everything
seems well organised, we were met at the airport with the coach
ready to take us off, looking forward to meeting our host families

are currently on 'camp in a camp' due back today. Jon's Unit are on
a bus to their 'camp in a camp' with Scouts from Holland, Ireland
and Namibia. Luke's unit are on Quest today and head out to their
