County Dinner

The County Chairman & County Commissioner invite you to the Annual County Dinner on Sunday 7th April 2019. There will be a presentation of 2019 St. George’s Day Awards by Sir William A. Bromley-Davenport (KCVO) FCA J.

Please wear uniform (if worn).

Menu

Starters

  • Leek and Potato Soup with Crème Fraiche (V)
  • Honeydew Melon/Watermelon topped with Mango Coulis
  • Pressed Ham Hock and Honey Terrine

Main Courses
All served with a selection of vegetables

  • Corn-fed Chicken
  • With chestnut mushrooms and a Cheshire Cheese filling & rich red wine jus
  • Slow Braised Beef Feather Blade of Beef, With Roasted Shallot Gravy
  • Cheese and Shallot Filo Pastry parcel served (V) With warm coulis of Tomatoes

Deserts

  • Profiteroles, Filled with cream and topped with a warm chocolate sauce and fresh fruit
  • Pavlova
  • Meringue nest filled with whipped cream and fresh raspberries, strawberries and blackberries
  • Apple and Rhubarb Oaty-baked Crumble with a traditional custard sauce
