HILL WALKING ACTIVITY PERMITS
TRAINING AND ASSESSMENT
Would you like to take Scouts (or Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs or Explorers) hill walking? This is the course for you…
To gain this permit you need to do a weekend of training… go away and practice… then a weekend of assessment. You don’t need to be some brave mountaineer, just be interested in hill walking.
The course is fun, supportive and inspiring.
You can now book in for either training or assessment. Please do not book in for assessment if you have not completed the training. Speak to me If you think you might like to skip the training, though this is almost never possible.
There is a lot of talk about T1 and T2. If you don’t know about this then please contact Ali.
Event organiser is [email protected]
Bookings will open soon
HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
