Scout Patrol Challenge – Base Ideas

The Scout Patrol Challenge is an intra-district event, where they go head to head through 9 bases and score points.

We’re calling on your Explorers to help design Taskmaster-style challenges for nine bases, each centered around the Scout Challenge Awards.

Aim: Create 9 task master-style bases, with the Scout challenge award themes

Activity Bases:

• 20 minutes long
• Equipment recorded
• The task should be written as a challenge, not too much detail & encompass the essence of the challenge award theme.
• They will be scored on: Leadership, Teamwork & Achieving the task

Base themes:

1.  Adventure
2.  World
3.  Creative
4.  Expedition
5.  Outdoor
6.  Personal
7.  Skills
8.  Team leader
9.  Teamwork

Examples:

Base 9 (Teamwork)

Task: Get the most amount of people over the ‘The Wall’, you have 20 minutes

Equipment: The Wall at Forest Camp
