From Fine Dining to the Wild: Peninsula Catering Joins the Scout Safari at Chamboree 2026
Award-winning events company Peninsula catering, based in the Wirral, Cheshire have partnered up with Cheshire Scouts to provide catering to their army of volunteers at Chamboree 2026. The event, first held in 1990 is a four yearly Scout and Guide festival, which has grown to be one of the biggest and best in the UK, expected to be enjoyed by over 5,000 Scouts and Guides from Cheshire, the UK and overseas in August 2026 at the Royal Cheshire Showground.

Peninsula catering was founded by Dave White who began his training at Coq d’Argent in London, after several years working in fine dining restaurants, he moved into events catering, working with some of the most prestigious companies in London. This included even included cooking for The Scout’s Patron, King Charles III at his 65th birthday party. Dave made the decision to move back to the Wirral and founded Peninsula Catering in 2017.
