Cheshire Scouts Night Hike – Mam Tor

The Cheshire Scouts Hill walking and Climbing team are running a night hike for scouts in Cheshire on Saturday 29 November starting at 6pm.

We will meet at the National Trust carpark for Mam Tor and then walk out along the ridge from Mam Tor to Lose Hill and back.

Walking groups will consist of six scouts and two adults, of which one adult will hold a T1/T2 permit. The hill walking team can provide leaders with permits if required, but the troop should provide at at least one adult per walking group. If you also have a leader with a permit who is willing to attend please let us know.

To sign up for this event, can leaders please complete the booking form in the first instance providing the names and membership numbers of the adults who are participating and the number of scouts in your walking party.

We can only accommodate 10 (ten) walking groups so will initially limit places to one walking group per troop. If you have more than six scouts wishing to attend, please indicate how many and we will accomodate if we can (depending upon interest). If you do not have a full walking group of six scouts and would like to attend, please let us know and we will try to join groups if we can.

Please sign-up by 15 November, confirmation of attendance and numbers will be provided by 17 November.
