Hill Walking Permit

  • Hill Walking Training or Assessment
  • This will fill the whole weekend , select either training or assessment when you sign up and select this for every day please.
  • You can choose Terrain 1 (T1) or Terrain 2 (T2). If you are a very experienced hill walker, comfortable with height, steep ground and big mountains, then T2 could be for you. If you are newer, happy walking in the hills but don’t want to push too hard then T1 is for you.
  • You must do a training weekend before assessment.
Option 2

Climbing Supervisor

  • Climbing Supervisor Training and Assessment
  • If you already have your artificial leadership permit for climbing then this course will step you up to supervisor level, enabling you to take more young people climbing at the same time.
  • You must already have a normal permit and you should be a happy and confident climber yourself. The weekend covers both training and assessment.
Option 3

Mix & Match

You can choose any of the activities for each day from:

  • Advanced ropework
