Understanding and Supporting Young People with ADHD and Neurodiversity Workshop
Understanding and supporting children and young people with ADHD
An empowering workshop for leaders
Join us for a practical and inspiring session led by Colin Foley, National Director of Training at the ADHD Foundation. This workshop will help you understand ADHD through a neurodiverse lens and give you confidence in responding to challenging behaviour with empathy, insight, and effective strategies.
- What ADHD is and isn’t — including up‑to‑date research, diagnostic criteria, executive functioning impairments, emotional regulation, comorbidities, and gender differences in presentation.
- Practical, evidence‑based strategies to support children and young people — from improving communication and session planning to strengthening executive functioning, promoting positive mental health, and encouraging self‑management.
This is a must‑attend session for anyone working with young people who wants to build inclusive, supportive environments where every child can thrive.
