Cheshire Scout’s Forest Camp Activity Centre re-opened for day visitors on Sunday 8 May 2021 and as of 2 July 2021 are approved for Residential and Nights Away Activities, plus a range of self-led activities are now available! A huge amount of work has happened on-site, as well as to make it a COVID secure venue. There are a couple of ways in which you can help us:
This is the opportunity for those who are prepared to support the Activity Centres on a regular basis who will become part of the core team of volunteers. This could be:
Our Task and Finish Team have been busy tackling some of the bigger jobs round the sites. Although the team have completed a lot of jobs over the last 12 months there is still plenty to do. If you are a competent DIY’er who enjoys making or repairing things why not come and join the Team. The tasks range from replacing fencing to fixing leaking taps, to building storage for equipment. We are looking for people to come and work with the team who are already working Saturday or Sunday most weekends.
