Ready to take your climbing to the next level?
If you’re a Scout in Cheshire aged 12½ or older, this is your chance to earn your Climbing Activity Badge through a two-part adventure led by the Cheshire Mountain Team!
Event Dates & Details
Session 1: Indoor Climbing & Skills
Date: Saturday, 17th May
Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM (GMT+1)
Location: Awesome Walls, Stockport
What to expect:

Indoor climbing
-
Learn the basics of how to look after your climbing gear

Learn the environmental impact of climbing

Learn knots used in climbing
Session 2: Outdoor Climbing Adventure
Date: Saturday, 7th June (weather dependent)
Time: 9:00 AM start
Location: Meet at Teggs Nose Country Park
Address: Buxton Old Road, Macclesfield, SK11 0AP
Activities:

Half-day climbing & abseiling at Teggs Nose

Half-day climbing at Windgather Rocks (transport provided)

Group swap at lunchtime

Badge presentation at the end of the day!
