The Royal Cheshire Show 2026

Between: 16th June 2026 - 17th June 2026 Location: The Royal Cheshire Show Ground Sections: Adult Volunteer
Cheshire Scouts is proud to be part of the Royal Cheshire Show once again. As a volunteer, you can help Cheshire Scouts, and enjoy a great day out with a free show entry ticket as a thank you.

Across two days, thousands of visitors will be heading to the showground, and we’re looking for volunteers from across Cheshire Scouts to help us be part of it.

Whether you can give a morning, an afternoon, or a full day – your support will help us showcase Scouting, welcome visitors and make sure we have a brilliant presence across the event.

As a thank you

You’ll receive a show entry ticket worth £33, so once your shift is finished, you can enjoy the rest of the day at the event.

If you volunteer on Tuesday 16th June, your ticket also includes access to Late at the Show until 10pm.

There is also the option to camp on the Monday and/or Tuesday evening at nearby Cub Warren Scout Campsite.

We’re looking for volunteers on:

– Tuesday 16 June
– Wednesday 17 June

You can volunteer for one day or both, but we ask everyone to commit to at least a morning or afternoon shift.

No specialist skills are needed, just enthusiasm, friendliness and a willingness to help.

Also, a fundraising opportunity for international trips

We also have 20 volunteer places available for young people fundraising towards international trips in 2027.

These volunteers will help manage the ticket gates, with places allocated on a first come, first served basis:

– 10 places: 7:00am to 12:00pm
– 10 places: 12:00pm to 5:00pm

A £50 donation will be made towards each volunteer’s international trip for every morning or afternoon session completed.

If you’re volunteering as part of your fundraising, please include this in the Special Requests box on the sign-up form, along with your preferred day and session.
